I believe that we all love this stuff so much because that's what we were in a past life and this is why we feel that we should have lived in that era and feel so outta place. Because we were there. Maybe we vintage fanatics were all there. *Shrugs* Just my opinion lol!

I like the 20's -60's! Early 60's anyway. Not only movies either! One thing I really love is the music! Dixieland(chicago, new orleans) and even things before the 20's like ragtime-Scott Joplin, Jellyroll Morton. And Irving Berlin. the best songwriter- next to Porter and Gershwin- of the early 20th century. Love those tunes!

I love the 40's!!! From the hairstyles to the outfits, to the movies! It was just an awesome era. So glamourous. And I guess I gotta join ya'lls club too because that's exactly what I put on my myspace page..."sometimes I feel I'm living in the wrong era"....LOL!

You lived in the right era at one time, it was just that life had to be unkind to you and put you in the wrong era I know that probably doesn't make sense to you, but that's how I feel about the subject..if only I could remember where I posted sommit like this once before...*goes off in search of a real time machine* I must also say, you are my hero! I wanted to colorize sommit, but I didn't wanna spend all night searching Corbis..and...I think she'll work I LOVE YOU!

*Dances past the thread with Gary* Oh, I'm sorry, did you say something about love, Gary? Gary: No darling, just shut up and keep dancing. I only have an hour and I have to meet the grim reaper back at the station at 5.
