I think the most gorgeous dresses I've seen have been on the classic Hollywood actresses in their movies. I'm going to look around and find some to post.

I'm guessing 1940 or 1950's.
I keep meaning to take screen caps of my fave outfits of stars from movies...lol...but I haven't gotten to it yet.

It is so beautiful.
And that sounds like an awesome idea.

I just have to tell about this gorgeus dress I got for my graduation. It's a real 1960's vintage lace dress. It's cream coloured and the length is a bit above my knee. The shop I brought it from was closing for business and they sold everything 50% off so the dress didn't even cost as much that it would've any other time. It's a shame that the shop was closed though - you can't find too many of them around here. The funny thing about this dress is also that there was no alternations needed. It just fit like a glove. I got really positive feedback from everyone who saw me in the dress.
Sorry to go all hyper about this but it's been my dream for ages to have a real vintage dress for my graduation and it came true!
