Meg, will you post more pics of those lovely dresses you bought? I would but I haven't had any occasion to wear them yet and one of them needs some more fixing, and two of them I had to send back to get a different size, and since I have been moving all of my jewelry and jewelry boxes are in other boxes somewhere upstairs lol. But, if I do get a chance to wear one and do ever get my room straightened around, I will definitely take pics for you all lol.

Aww, I'm sorry, sounds like you've had lots of trouble. But you don't need a special occasion to wear them, because it will be a special occasion for everyone who has the privilege to see you in them. And we don't care about the room, we''ll be too busy admiring you!

Oh, well, I just moved into my mom's house and most of my sister's crap is still in her old room. My old room connects to her old room through a door in the wall that seperates them, so I'm taking her room too lol.
Well, some stuff she couldn't take back with her to FL is sitting there in boxes and my stuff is sitting there in boxes, so I honestly don't have them out yet, and I couldn't even tell you what box they are in and I don't really feel like going through the boxes since I sliced my finger open the other night at work, on the slicer and would hate to get blood on my beautiful one of a kind dresses...

Oh, no! Are you ok? Did you need stitches?

I didn't need stitches, but I was pretty shocked, it was the first time in almost three years that I have cut myself cleaning the slicer. I was the unlucky one, everyone who cuts themselves on it usually has the blade spinning when the accident happens. When I cut myself, the blade was not spinning. Thankfully, my mom, a nurse, was there waiting to pick me up and heard me saying some pretty undesirable things as I watched the blood pouring from my finger and the manager searching for a band aid LOL so at least my mom knew what to do, but I went to the hospital and got a tetanus shot, which wasn't any fun either I guess it'll take about three weeks to heal, and I keep hitting it on things, but I've found if I wrap enough band aids around it I can type with a certain amount of ease, but sometimes I still hit it off of things just right and almost burst into tears from the pain.

Aww, you have to take some time off, you can't work like that! Isn't there some kind of insurance for accidents like that?

Well, since I didn't need a stitch, there probably isn't anything that is going to need paid, except for the tetanus shot and the bandaid, also the suture removal kit they gave me so I can trim the skin when it dies. They filed it under workman's comp, and then also took my insurance info jus incase.
Ahh, everyone who has cut their fingers on the slicer come back to work right away, you just get used to banging it around until one day it's all healed and it doesn't hurty anymore.

That is just terrible, if you would have lived in Sweden you'd gotten weeks off for that. With pay and compensation.

i love the hats on those outfits meg! i hope your finger heals faster than you can say i love dean and jerry. heehee
i had an experience like that last year. except i didnt slice it. my family bought 11 acres of land and we were clearing out trees, well my job used to be to chop down horrible cactus and throw it on a burning pile. i know.....it wasnt pleasant. anyway, one time i had a machete knife in my hand and when i raised it to chop the cactus my left index finger was putting too much pressure on the machete, and i heard a poping noise. the day after that it was swollen like a sausage, literally and turned blue and purple(not a pretty sight). it was so excruciatingly painful. so i went to my doctor, and noone could figure out what i had done to my poor finger.
everytime i used my finger it got more and more swollen, so they drew my blood, which just happened to be the time i fainted in the process. and they still couldnt find the issue,so they just told me to wait 6 months for it to heal.unfortunately i am left handed, so my homework looked really weird for all those months. heehee!
