I stumbled across this forum after a loooooooong time off and felt really sad when I noticed that it has become so awfully quiet here This is an amazing place and I have many great memories here. Also Kimmy has seen so much trouble to bring this place back and I feel awful not to have participated more I felt like I should try bringing this place back to life on my behalf. I don't know is anyone going to read this but... I had a great day today. This was my first week on my new job - I'm working in a construction yard and everything has been going well so far. I just have to get up really early - 5AM every day so the weekend couldn't have been welcomed more! After work I went to donate some blood. I've been doing it quite a few times and I kinda like doing it even though sticking a needle in to your arm isn't exactly a joyful experience. I'd love to give more money to charity but I'm poor so this is my way to help others. One bag of blood can be used to help three patients. It feels nice that I might have saved someone's life today. Also it's summer and it's a beautiful weather outside. Who cares if I have a huge bandage around my arm? How are you today? How was your day?

Don't feel bad, Miss Purdy! I've been letting it slip for some time now. I was able to keep up with it on a daily basis because of my work schedule last year but in Novemeber I moved back to Missouri and have been letting it grow moss again. But I'm hoping to clean all the cob webs out, sweep away the tumble weeds and get this place active once again! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you but that sounds so wonderful of you to give blood. I've never donated any blood but I should really find a place in my area that lets you do that because that's an awesome thing to do for others! My day today (4 months later ) was good! Been busy cleaning the house, getting ready for fall and babysitting a little munchin by the name of Micah. He's a sweetie -- his mom is a nurse and has me watching him every day; he really brightens up my afternoons. How have things been going lately?
