Dustin and I had just watched a documentary yesterday called, "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and I cannot explain how deeply it effected both of us in such a powerful way.
Here's the synopsis:
100 pounds overweight, loaded up on steroids and suffering from a debilitating autoimmune disease, Joe Cross is at the end of his rope and the end of his hope. The man lost so much weight while doing this juice therapy every day for 60 days; he was able to gradually get off ALL of his medications; he had so much energy and he seemed more happy. It's amazing and very simple. Here's one of the recipes:
6 kale leaves
1 cucumber
4 celery stalks
2 apples
1/2 lemon
lump of ginger

Dustin and I are both starting on this fast on Saturday; for 10 days (if not longer) to hopefully rid ourselves of all the toxins and sicknesses in both of us.
