Hi everyone, sorry if this post is in the wrong place, but anyhoo
i'm studying digital media and i'm in my last year, and we have to write a 5000-7000 word dissertation on any media subject we like.
of course i had to find a way to fit jerry in somehow, because its easier to write and research about a subject you like and are interested in (and cuz i'm a freaky fan)
well the idea behind the essay is looking at performance and music and mainly something called "text painting" which is where action from a film is synced with music. Like the meeting room scene in Errand boy, typewriter bit in Who's minding the store, and the kitchen and stair entrance in Cinderfella.
These are the only examples i've got, does anyone know of any others? they don't have to be from jerry movies as the more examples i get the better my work will be, but preferably from the older films (50's and 60's) and my knowledge of older films is fairly limited.
if anyone could think of any examples i'd be eternally grateful and give lots of big bear hugs.
thanks again
Kels

The only one I can think of is Jerry conducting the "invisible band" in "The Bellboy". I'll try to think of others.
