The Munchkins Represent on the Walk of Fame They earned less per week than Toto the dog, but without the Munchkins The Wizard of Oz just wouldn't have been so magical. And finally, they've received their star on Hollywood's walk of fame. Just seven of the more than 100 little people who played the inhabitants of Oz's Munchkinland in 1939 survive today, all well into their '80s. While some stayed in Hollywood and in show biz, most drifted off around the country to other lives and careers. And how did they arrive at the dedication of their star? Why, in a carriage pulled by a horse of a different color, of course! ~ Well, I love The Wizard of Oz and I thought this article was interesting. And I thought some might like to see this.
