jolly! i totally understand where you are coming from....i have this humongous passion for music too, and know all about it. im sorry to say that i like johann strauss. i love the song, "on the beautiful blue danube", among others. that song reminds me so much of my Goodbye Mr. Chips, when mr. and mrs. chips were waltzing. heehee! i looooove frankie's voice. i have lots of his records! my grandmama loves bing's voice, so i dont really argue with that very much. she would prefer him over frankie actually. heehee! i just love all the lounge lizard voices out there like michael buble, harry connick jr., frankie. you know......the only one i am not too partial to is bing though. i like his movies, i just dont like when he sings. i think it is wonderful that you like him though. if we all liked the same things in this world, life would be dull. ;D

Sorry people, but I HATE IT's A Wonderful life with a passion. My wife loves it, but I absolutely hate the George Bailey character and hate the ending because Old Man Potter walks away unpunished for everything he does through the whole movie. (I personally love the "Lost Ending" skit Saturday Night Live did on this,)
In the other hand, Barrymore has got to be the greatest actor ever as you forget youa re watchign a movie and you just hate this guy with a passion.
I had heard he was in line to play Scrooge in one of the Christmas Carols and then the carw reck that put him in a wheel chair ended that for him. Pity as he would have made a great Scrooge.
But no, I hate It's A Wonderful Life.
