Yes the high noon one is the broken link on the first post that you have to copy and paste in order to view. So you think the Beau one looks like Coop?

Somewhat, but his chin's a bit different. Though it's better than the John Wayne one. It doesn't look too close to him, but at least it's something.

I don't like those High Noon ones, but the ones selling on ebay are better. I'll have to check the prices again, but I really wanna get these, I don't know why. Maybe because I already have a lot of stuff and my amazon history is getting shorter.

Well, I got bored and thought I would google Gary Cooper dolls for you since you mentioned the high noon one over at the TCM board. From what I gather the Sideshow company didn't mention Gary's name on their web site so they must not have had the rights to do Gary for the French Legion figure but it looks like most people are advertising as Gary Cooper for a selling point. I think it looks more like Gary than the John Wayne figure looks like John Wayne and it looks like they do have the rights to market that one as John Wayne.

I think the High Noon figures are the same one selling on ebay as I looked up the company name listed on ebay for a search of a better picture. Perhaps I was looking at the wrong ebay ones. As the one's I saw were in a box and you couldn't see the faces too well.
I would much rather be discussing my thoughts on the Winning of Barabra Worth movie but it looks like I will have to wait till next week for that.

I got that line from the Last Hero book. It cracked me up b/c not only did he rise out of poverty row pictures but he became an icon beloved around the world.

Yes! lol, It made me laugh out loud, too. I was like, "Yes! There's NOBODY on Poverty Row as good looking as Gary!" There's also nobody as good looking as him...period

Anyone remember that one lady that use to post on the Gary Cooper tcm board pktrekgirl. She was the one that claimed she was such a big fan of Gary Cooper and how we had ruined the Gary Cooper thread. Well I think she was just one of those women that thought that Gary Cooper was good looking and nothing else. I think she got upset because we all came on board and started posting on how good of an actor he was and started talking about his movies. The reason I state this is I recently came accross a post she made on favorite actors and actresses and she doesn't even mention Gary Cooper as one of her favorites. Anyway I'm glad she is off that thread and hasn't returned. Below were her favorites. I can't imagine some of these picks over Gary Cooper.
Actors:
Top 3: Humphrey Bogart Errol Flynn Charlie Chaplin
Other favorites: Clark Gable Spencer Tracy William Powell Charles Boyer Montgomery Clift Cary Grant Franchot Tone Joel McCrea Glenn Ford Fred Astaire Gene Kelly Rock Hudson
She certainly deserves to go in the hall of shame for pretending to be a Gary Cooper fan.

Yeah I remember her. I'm glad she hasn't come back either b/c she was weird and overreacted to stuff sometimes.
