yeah it's all the medication and antibiotica that made him gain so much weight. Those can blow you up to the size of a whale in no time! I gotta hand it to him for the guts he had to come out looking like that. But then only the true entertainers have that. They know they're sick and look awful but they insist to perform for the sake of their fans. How admirable is that ? Just today I read that the Rolling Stones once again cancelled a whole concert because Jagger boy had a little cold....Well boohoo to the thousands of fans who went through all sorts of trouble to get their hands on a ticket and then to hear two hours before the start that the show was cancelled. 2 fans have filed a lawsuit demanding millions from them. I hope they win.

Sorry for being inactive for so long. But when I saw this I just had to come share it with everyone. Hope it hasn't already been posted somewhere else. news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20081211/ap_en_mo/people_jerry_lewisJerry Lewis to receive Oscar's humanitarian award Reuters LOS ANGELES – Jerry Lewis has never been nominated for an Oscar, but he's going to get one anyway. The 82-year-old will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the Oscar ceremony in February. The governors of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced their selection Wednesday. The Hersholt Award — an actual Oscar statuette — recognizes humanitarian efforts that have brought credit to the film industry. An actor, director, writer and producer, Lewis made his big-screen debut in 1949's "My Friend Irma." He has been national chairman of the Muscular Dystrophy Association since 1952 and has raised more than $2 billion for the cause through his annual Labor Day telethon. ------------ Way to go, Jerry! It's about time!
