Oh, Megg, you have TONS of guys, hey, we can share Dean. You, me and Paula pally. But, remember, Dean married me way back in Always Dean when we first started it. Sooo, since we're married, we get the most time together. *cheesy grin* I love you guys. Megg, Kimmy, Sel and Paula! Yeah! No kiddin' Megg! Thank heavens my family loves Dean! One of my friends really loves him too, I got her hooked on him and now she's as rabid for him as I am! Anyone ever seen 'Rat Pack's Las Vegas', 'Sinatra and the Rat Pack', 'Bio's Rat Pack' and 'Everybody Loves Somebody'? I've been watching them, they're so great. But, to war you, like me, they ain't very PC. *Dean and me smile and start swearing crazily and ripping off eachother's clothes* LOL! Oh god! NINA! Don't you just LOVE the Sopranos? Chrissy is sooooo hot. He almost looks like Dean, my mother pointed that out and she's defantlly right! EVRYBODY needs to watch the sopranos, and I'm not kiddin'! *Dean and me stop kissing and give everybody dirty looks and hold out their Tommy guns.* *tommy guns squirt water all over* *Dean and Lynn skipp into back room and lock the door*

Well I guess I'm a little late too but I might as well introduce myself for those who don't know me...lol. My name is Monica but my friends call me Mon, I live in Miami, FL, I was born and raised here, but I have Syrian/Cuban background. When I was a kid I never really appreciated the old classics, but a few years ago I started becoming crazy about it, I am a HUGGGGEEE Lucille Ball fan, I know there are tons of lucy fans out there but I truly believe I am the biggest fan she will ever have...lol. I'm sure many other fans think that way about themselves too but I can't help but say that lol...I have a HUGE collection of her movies and I have all the I Love Lucy shows on dvd from seasons 1-6 including the lucy-desi comedy hour. I have the box set of Here's Lucy, and I have all the Lucy shows ones too...all of them on dvd. I have a few of her movies on dvd and vhs...but I still have a lot more to collect. I'm just obssessed, to the point I dye my hair Lucille Ball red...LOL!!! What can I say....I love EVERYTHING about lucy. I also love Ginger Rogers, Rita Hayworth, Fred, Astaire, Gene Kelly, Cary Grant...well I better stop there or the list will just go on and on and on. Ok so lets see what else I can say about me. I'm Christian, and I sing at the church I attend to...God really blessed me with a lovely voice and I always use it to praise and glorify His name. I just finished recording a cd with the band im in which is called "Restart" and we are a christian-rock band. But with the help of God I'm planning on going solo and working on a new project to make my own cd. I just love the turner classic movie channel, I can sit down and watch it for hours. I love anything that's in black and white practically lol. So ok I guess that's pretty much it for now. I'm a very outgoing person and I love making lots of friends. People have always told me that I'm a very friendly person and most people always like me, I love to make people laugh, I guess that's why I love Lucy so much, I identify myself a lot with her, I have always loved making people laugh since I was a little girl. I guess I'm just a natural born comedienne. LOL. Well I guess that's it for now, or else I will end up writing my whole life story LOL God bless you all.

oh and by the way kim...i read the first post you made on this thread and you mentioned that you like to tapdance........wowwwww girl, I thought I was the only one lol. I told my husband I wanted to learn how to tapdance and he looked at me weird i'm like what's the problem? LOL so i've been planning on looking around here somewhere so I can start taking some classes. I know no one tap dances anymore but it truly is a shame because I just love it. It's beautiful and must be so fun to do!!!! Every time I watch a musical and I see them tap dancing I just can't help myself, I have to tap my feet or do some kind of movement because I just can't sit still. It's impossible for me to sit down and watch a movie where say fred astaire or gene kelly or ginger rogers are dancing and i'm just sitting there lol. I get this anxiety over me where I just feel like getting up and start tap dancing myself even though i've never in my life done it lol...hehehe

I can't imagine someone not knowing who Dean and Jerry were before coming to this board. I guess their movies are not played as much today or something. They use to be on all the time and I grew up watching all of their movies on the saturday afternoon deal.
This topic reminds me that I haven't ever posted anything on myself. Well I am a Gary Cooper fan and have been my whole known life I guess. I was in the Air Force for awhile and was on the Air Force powerlifting team. I have a gold medal and a few hundred trophies for my troubles and believe that I still hold the Armed Forces Deadlift record of 805 pounds. I own thousands of dollars in video equipment programs and have traveled to every state in the US on tours filming Christian Concerts. In my service days I spent time in England, Germany and Spain and North Dakota (the frozen taundra state)
I do not like rock groups anymore which includes even the Beatles and prefer to listen to the music from the 30's- to early 60's and old time Country music. My favorite singer is Jim Reeves and Marty Robbins but also appreciate other smooth crooner singers like Dean Martin.
I am also a very big fan of some of the 60's sitcoms Andy Griffith ect and the Original Twilight Zone tv series.

Nope not a World record but an Armed Forces record consisting of Army, Air Force, Marine Core and Navy. The world record at the time was 903 and was made by person I think who's name was George Hector. It may well be over a thousand pounds now though. The Armed Forces powerlifting teams were disbanded and so my record may be safe. I forgot to mention that I spent a great deal of time in Salt Lake City Utah as that was the Air Forces' training camp for Powerlifting. The Armed Forces meets were at a different branch each year. In my 3 years before disbanding I was at one at El Toro Marine Core base in Orange county California and also at two in Salt Lake City Utah. California is a very beautiful place to go to in February when my home base of Minot AFB ND was 70 below zero and California was 70 degrees. At the time I really had no desires to return to Minot ND after 2 weeks in California but had to or I would have been AWOl.

Wow, so you lifted 805 pounds and you're only 190? Was it just for fun or was it for the military? I know, I'm an idiot at these things, I'm not very well edu-micated

I had quit powerlifting after becoming a Christian as I viewed it as a vice that needed to be given up and went from 320 pounds at 10 percent body fat to about 200 pounds in about 6 months time on a starvation diet. I did not see it as Christian like to be looked up at and admired and all that and I just wanted to be a regular person on a air force base from that point on. When I was a famous powerlifter and because of my Huge physical size, everyone on the base knew who I was and I couldn't really go anywhere or do anything without having people staring at me. When Generals came to the base they would be told that this was the base with the famous powerlifters on it (my best friend and workout partner was also on the Air Force Powerlifting Team) and I always had to meet them and such and it really went against everything that I came to believe in after becoming a Christian. Stuff like humbleness and normal everyday person were all that I wanted at that point and still do. I really shouldn't have brought this all up as it is something that I have kept quiet on for a very long time but it does make for a good testimony sometimes to talk about it.

You ever been to Altus AFB? My grandfather loved it and talked about it all the time.
Of course you flyboys held the record! The Air Force could beat 'em all blind folded and one hand behind their backs!

I have a sad introduction. No one laughs at me, they roll their eyes. I'm a loser with no life. I go to work, go to school, come home. I have like two real friends, one who barely has time for me (you think I'm making this up you're nuts!)
I've worked at Arby's for TWO YEARS AND TEN MONTHS! I'm still one of the lowest paid people there...because I'm still a crew person.
I love to dress up to do mundane things, like go grocery shopping, just so I can get pointed and laughed at. I enjoy the weird looks I get when I'm dressed all vintage.
I like to colorize pictures. No, I don't mean coloring books, I mean taking black and white photos and making them look like they were orignally in color. I've been told I do a brilliant job. On some of them I do. They're in my photobucket if you want to see....the name is TheLastFlower. They're in the colorized pictures folder, go figure!
I love old things to the point of being crazy, boring people with talk of old movies and stars and hence getting the weird looks.
I attend UPB or the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, but I"m going to be taking a year off because I was too much of a slacker to actually go to class last term, so I'm on academic probation, trust me, it's not a fun thing to be on!
I'm majoring in communications and minoring in archaeology.
I have blue eyes and naturally blonde hair, but I just dyed it some very strange color that didn't stick very well, so I look kind of like a purple and white zebra. It's attractive, let me tell ya.
I too would love to tap dance, however I would probably look like a pregnant slephant (lol kim), but have been tempted to take lessons, if I only had the two hundred bucks!
I have my ears pierced, three times, and my nose. No tattoos, I'm too much of a chicken to do that. No, I don't have a giant hoop or anything in my nose, for those of you who have a thing against people with piercings, oh, I do know the stereotyping that goes on...it's just two small cherries with green little leaves on the left side of my nose.
I must confess that I'm addicted to adventurig and after just typing that paragraph, I had to backspace the star that I put after it, as if everything in that paragraph were an action!
So, I'm an all around loser, and proud of it!
